Our Services
The chance of a lifetime. Every service, all on one page.
Miracle Farm Boys Ranch provides not only a beautiful location, but a number of programs that form the core of the ministry. An on-campus charter school, dedicated staff, an innovative horse program, and fully equipped on-site woodworking and metal arts shops create a well-rounded program.
Miracle Farm also offers teenage boys and their families the chance of a lifetime to renew their relationships with each other and, hopefully, with the Lord. Indeed, only God can make all things new. The focus is to help guide them into restoration and renewal.
Residential Program
Centered in our Christian faith, Miracle Farm Boys Ranch offers teenage boys and their families the chance of a lifetime to experience healing, to earn an education, and to learn respect in a residential ranch setting.
Residential care and guidance
Our young men live in homes staffed by a married, Christian couple that have been trained in the Trust-Based Relational Intervention® model (TBRI®), developed by the TCU Institute for Child Development. The model assists our staff in aiding families to heal from past traumas and to positively change their family’s interactions.
Through the ministry’s unique blend of programs, the boys also learn self-confidence, self-discipline, responsibility, and healthy relationship skills. Bible studies, morning devotionals, and weekly church involvement foster spiritual growth. Length of stay varies according to the expressed needs of each family, but averages 18 months.
Individual and family restoration
We believe that God created people to be in relationship, and our healthy relationships are the key to a successful and fulfilling life. At Miracle Farm Boys Ranch, every aspect of our program is designed to teach, strengthen, and foster healthy relationships. Formal individual and family counseling is provided by licensed mental health professionals to teach, to model, and to cement these skills in our boys.
Family enrichment weekends are used to teach families the TBRI® model and help instill new skills to improve how they relate to one another. Home visits give our families the opportunity to practice their skills, and our staff the opportunity to support them as they work to better their family.
Education and vocation training
Through our partnership with Premier High School, Miracle Farm Boys Ranch offers each young man the opportunity to take ownership of his education. Staffed with highly qualified teachers, our students are able to earn their Texas high school diploma, as well as college credits through Blinn College.
Each weekday morning is spent in the classroom mastering the skills needed to graduate from high school. Each afternoon is spent in learning labs developing practical job skills such as welding, construction science, farm and ranch maintenance, and horsemanship.
Horse program
From their first day at Miracle Farm Boys Ranch, each young man learns how to develop a healthy relationship with his horse. Caregiving tasks such as grooming, cleaning stalls, and feeding build the foundations of trust. Team roping teaches cooperation and teamwork, and instills a new sense of accomplishment and success.
As trust is built, the young man learns to work in tandem with his horse on the ground and on its back. This bond aids Miracle Farm staff in helping each young man apply those skills to his everyday life and to his relationships with family, teachers, peers, and others.
Cornerstone Residency
The Cornerstone Residency is our newest program, a transitional program for young men who graduate from Miracle Farm. It is built on the belief that ages 18 through 21 are the cornerstone years.
Residents pursue a college degree or vocational training while receiving intensive discipleship in biblical finance, relationships, servant leadership, and church involvement. Our team helps with housing and walks alongside each young man with hands-on discipleship.

Admissions
Families of teenage boys are referred to Miracle Farm in a variety of ways, including by family members, friends, churches, or school counselors. There is no cost for placement at Miracle Farm.
The admissions process
- Initial contact. The parent or guardian of a prospective resident can call Miracle Farm and speak with the Farm’s licensed social worker. The social worker may then send an application to get a clearer understanding of the situation.
- Submission of an application. Once the application has been submitted, our licensed social worker will make contact with the family. If it is determined that Miracle Farm could be a good fit, a list of required supporting documents will be sent to the family. Documents may include school records, psychological or psychiatric evaluations, and a copy of any court order regarding custody. Upon receipt of the supporting documents, the admissions team will arrange for an assessment interview.
- Assessment interview. An assessment interview, held at Miracle Farm, will include the admissions team, the prospective resident, and all guardians. Afterward, the team will determine whether Miracle Farm can provide services to meet the needs of all parties. Next, a pre-placement meeting will be scheduled if placement is deemed appropriate. If it is determined that placement at Miracle Farm is not appropriate, family, parents, or guardians may be referred to another program or resource for appropriate services.
- Pre-placement meeting. The prospective resident and his family will have dinner with the houseparents and residents of the cottage. During dinner, the family is encouraged to ask any questions about life at Miracle Farm, which will aid in adjustment to the program. The admissions team and the family will make preparations for placement.
