Miracle Farm Boys Ranch respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website, give a gift, or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you make a donation, fill out a form (such as a contact, volunteer, tour, or application form), sign up for updates, or email or call us, we collect the information you choose to share. This may include your name, mailing address, email address, phone number, the details of your gift, and anything you write in a message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device type, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, and your IP address. We use this information to keep the site secure and working well.

Payment information. Online gifts are processed by our secure giving partner, iDonate. Your card or bank details go directly to iDonate and its payment processors. Miracle Farm Boys Ranch does not store full card numbers on this website.

How we use your information

  • To process your gift and send you a receipt and acknowledgment.
  • To answer your questions and respond to requests, including volunteer, tour, and service inquiries.
  • To review job applications you send us.
  • To send you updates about our ministries, such as newsletters, annual reports, and invitations, if you have given or asked to hear from us. You can opt out at any time.
  • To keep records required by law and by the accounting standards we follow.
  • To understand how our website is used so we can improve it, and to protect it from misuse.

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. This website is built to use as few as possible.

  • Essential. The site itself does not need cookies to work. A small preference cookie may be used to remember a setting you choose.
  • Analytics. If we use Google Analytics, it sets cookies that help us count visits and see which pages are useful. The information is reported to us in aggregate and is not used to identify you. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Embedded services. Some pages include content from other services: our giving form (iDonate, protected by Google reCAPTCHA), our forms (Jotform), and videos (YouTube and Vimeo). These services may set their own cookies when you use them. Videos on this site do not load until you press play.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block cookies from embedded services, some forms or videos may not work.

How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only:

  • Within our family of ministries (Children At Heart Ministries, Children At Heart Foundation, Gracewood, Miracle Farm Boys Ranch, and Texas Baptist Children’s Home) when needed to serve you, honor your gift designation, or answer your request.
  • With trusted service providers who help us operate, such as our giving platform, form provider, email and mailing services, and website host. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
  • When required by law, or to protect the safety of the children, families, staff, and volunteers we serve.

Donor privacy

As a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA), we honor donor intent and treat donor information with care. If you would like your gift to remain anonymous, tell us and we will not list your name in any publication.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it. We never publish identifying information about children in our care without the permission required by law and our own policies.

How we protect your information

This website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS), and online gifts are processed through secure, industry-standard payment systems. We limit access to personal information to staff and providers who need it. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and review our practices regularly.

Your choices

  • Mail and email. To stop receiving mail or email from us, use the unsubscribe link in any email or contact us using the information below.
  • Your information. You may ask to see, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep by law.
  • Do Not Track. Browsers handle Do Not Track signals differently, and there is no common standard, so this site does not respond to them. You can still control cookies as described above.

Links to other websites

Our website links to other sites, including our sister ministries, our giving and form partners, and social media. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be posted on this page.
